Offers in the nutraceutical business are having mutual benefits for companies and consumers.
Price promotions and special offers in the nutraceutical business are proving to be of benefit for all involved in the industry, it has been claimed.
The comments come as Nutraceutical International Corporation reports improved sales both domestically and internationally in its third fiscal quarter, ending June 30th.
Chair and chief executive officer Bill Gay says: "Our core health food store customers are regaining confidence in their businesses and we look forward to helping them grow.
"Ongoing sales promotions appear to be benefiting stores, consumers and our company."
Income for the third quarter was $3 million (£1.8 million), an increase of $0.1 million year-on-year during turbulent times for the nutraceutical business.
Nutraceutical International Corporation manufactures branded and bulk products for sale to an end-user market and for use by other operators in the nutraceutical business.
Its products include vitamins, minerals, herbs and other nutritional supplements, built on an initial vision to unify the production of those categories within the scope of a single company.
